🔐 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Harmony now supports MFA for all subscribers. This security feature is controlled at the network level, meaning if your Harmony subscription is connected to agencies using Understanding, MFA settings will extend to those users as well. Contact help@agencykpi.com to enable this feature.

⚙️ Agency Group & Admin Portal Improvements

New Agency Group feature: Harmony admins can now create custom Agency Groups and control which users can apply them as filters in Carrier Production and Profit Share Summary. Contact help@agencykpi.com to enable this feature.

Links to the AKPI Knowledge Base have been added throughout the Admin Portal to provide guidance and context, helping users better understand configuration options.

If you don’t see a NAICS code in the Market Assistance filter, it’s likely because no one in your network has written business with it yet.

Even though that code exists in our system, the dropdown only shows codes tied to actual data in your network.
We designed it this way to keep the filter data-driven, relevant, and easy to navigate.

👉 So if you’re exploring a new prospect and don’t see the NAICS code—don’t worry, it just hasn’t been written… yet.

We’ve just released several enhancements to the Carrier Production report in Harmony to make your data analysis smoother, faster, and more customizable.

What’s New

Carrier Production Report

• Export Button Added
  You can now quickly export the Carrier Details Table to Excel for easier offline analysis and sharing.
  Note: If your view includes total rows, we recommend using the filter menu to remove them after clicking "export."
• Improved Column Alignment
  All financial and ratio columns are now right-aligned, making it easier to scan and compare numbers at a glance.
• Subcode Slicer with Exclusion Logic
  Filter out unwanted sub-codes from your current view using the new slicer tool—giving you more control over what’s included in your insights.
• State Filter Button
  Slice and dice Carrier Production data by state (agency domicile state) to better understand geographic trends and performance.

Enhancements to Agency Production Filters

Available in Harmony and Understanding for customers with Agency Production

We’ve rolled out several usability enhancements to the Agency Production experience in both Harmony and Understanding, based on customer feedback—especially around writing carrier workflows and premium segmentation.
"Writing Carrier" Renamed to "MGA Writing"
To improve labeling, the "Writing Carrier" filter has been renamed to MGA Writing:

• When MGA Writing is selected, the Wholesaler filter is automatically enabled.
• Wholesaler cannot be deselected independently when MGA Writing is active—it must be turned off by deselecting MGA Writing.

• In the quick filter bar, selecting Core or Non-Core now shows only that breakout.
• If neither option is selected, the details table will show both Core and Non-Core rows.
• To switch between Core and Non-Core views within a combined display, use the filter buttons directly in the details table.

• These are now mutually exclusive—selecting one will deselect the other.
• This ensures your filtered results reflect exactly one distribution channel at a time.

Here’s a roundup of the latest platform updates from the past two weeks. These enhancements span both Harmony (for Network users) and Understanding (for Agency users), along with a behind-the-scenes enhancement you can now take advantage of by reaching out.

✅ Automated NAICS Classification Support

Classifying Book of Business just got easier. The Submission Service now includes SIC-to-NAICS crosswalk support. When only SIC codes are available, Understanding will automatically suggest the appropriate NAICS code—simplifying data input and improving classification accuracy.

✅  Behind-the-Scenes Support for Combined CPR File Uploads

While you won’t see any interface changes, our internal tools now support uploading multiple carrier CPR files in a single combined format—no manual splitting needed.

What this means for you: If your team receives combined CPR files from a carrier, we can now load them on your behalf with less friction. Just send them our way—we’ll handle the rest.
